Rehabilitation of an apartment in central Lisbon. The goal was to transform this apartment, with nice areas and natural light but in a deep state of decay and very compartmentalized, into a home with open spaces capable of meeting the needs of a modern family

The project was shaped by several factors: the detailing of doors and ceiling (which were preserved), the existing complex wooden structure, the uneven load distribution on the structure resulting from renovations done on neighboring apartments within the same building, the needs of the clients and a controlled budget.

With very few heavy interventions, we were able to transform this rundown apartment into a modern home, spacious and full of light, suitable for the happy, healthy growth of a family.
